Tri-ang Australian Sets

GB1 Set

This is another set, dating from 1966-67, that does not appear in any catalogue or price list. It seems to be a custom version of the R4N set of the same period. The code is handwritten in biro on the sticker inside the set and on the end of the box. The locomotive is the rare black version of the Moldex R258 Princess Royal. All rolling stock and track are Australian made.

Another set that is assumed to have been assembled for a department store, perhaps Grace Brothers in Sydney , although the set was found in Melbourne .
